International Advocacy for Human Rights and Anti-Corruption (IAHRAC)

IAHRAC is a non-profit and voluntary organization that advocates human rights and fights against corruption around the world. IAHRAC aims are primarily to protect people whose freedom or rights are being denied and to demand for international justice against perpetuators of human rights abuses and corrupt practices.

In an effort to achieve its broad objectives in line with the principle of justice and freedom, IAHRAC thoroughly and objectively investigates issues relating to corruption and human rights abuses and exposes them. IAHRAC (in principle and in practice) opposes the oppression of individuals or group of individuals or ethnic composition and all forms of sectarianism. As part of its modus operandi, IAHRAC mobilizes the public to help in the transformation of societies with a view to creating safer and friendlier environments for people living in the world.

Unarguably, corruption has been one of the major impediments to meaningful development, especially in most developing nations. Investors hardly invest in corrupt nations or societies because of the negative impact of corruption on the survival and viability of businesses. The inevitable consequence of low investment is high rate of unemployment and persistent reduction in the volume of commercial activities. Governments of such nations are constrained to impose high taxes in order to generate barely ‘adequate’ revenue. The cumulative effect of all these is abject poverty which equally encourages corruption. Corruption therefore can be best described as a societal ailment, which initiates a circle of undesirable social, economic, political conditions that militate against prosperity, growth and stability.

In many countries, corruption has debilitated the judicial and political systems. In such nations, the voices of the people are neglected; justice is often denied, giving room to exploitation, oppression and bestiality. IAHRAC has taken it as a challenge to work towards reducing this trend. One of its major objectives is to let the voice of the people be heard.

There are a lot of human rights abuses all over the world. Innocent people are killed each day. Exploitation has become the order of the day. Discrimination and caste system have also divided many societies. People are deprived of their rights with impunity. Many innocent people are languishing in jail for daring to ask for justice. IAHRAC believes it is possible and expedient to ensure peace, freedom of speech, freedom of movement and maintain human rights as fundamental rights of all humanity.

Giving bribes in cash or gifts are common in most developing countries. This has been revealed in cases of individual and corporate certifications or licenses acquisitions. Access to health care in some nations is not determined by need but by what one is able to offer to the authorities. Some people bribe with money to get employment while most women face the worst forms of sexual harassment to get employment or promotion in their place of work. The situation is appalling. IAHRAC encourages anyone abused in these manners to pass the complaints to its international or regional headquarters in any parts of the world. We will assuredly deal with the issue in accordance with the international laws and the rule of law, as stated by the United Nations. IAHRAC’s stance is that the act of corruption and human rights violations can be abated in order to check human trafficking, organized crimes and terrorism. To be successful in this movement, this organization encourages private and government sectors to take steps to curb corruption within their reach. IAHRAC calls for true democracy and for the protection of democracy. IAHRAC humbly invites courageous individuals and organizations to join in the
movement against corruption and human rights violations. If you deemed it expedient to identify with this struggle, contact the organization and register your opinion on the state of affairs of corruption. Membership of IAHRAC is voluntary and open. All you need do is to fill out the membership application form and return it along with €80.00 (yearly membership fees which can as well be paid quarterly) to our headquarters in Germany.
